We are commanded to go and make disciples (not church-goers!) of all people.  However, many of us have lost focus on the Great Commission.  We can accomplish this mission as we “walk in love, as Christ loved us” (Ephesians 5:2).  We walk in love by submitting to God, meeting people where they are at and becoming prayer warriors.

Submit to God

“Submit yourselves, then, to God.”  Ephesians 4:7

We are to submit our desires, talents and resources to God.  So often people walk around without a purpose – God has purpose for everyone!  He will use your desires, talents and resources to advance His Kingdom!

Meet People Where They are at

When we see Jesus encounter the woman at the well (John 4:4-24), He met her where she was at.  He sat down and had a conversation.  He asked her questions…gently!  Yet He also spoke truth to her.  When encounter people that different from us, we need to ask questions (gently!), listen and speak truth in love.

Become a Prayer Warrior

We can’t accomplish the Great Commission on our own – it has to be the power of God working through us.  Be praying!  Don’t give up!
