We have SO much to celebrate! Christians have been forgiven for their sins and have received power because of the resurrection. How are you responding to these gifts?
Jesus has Forgiven Us
We have been forgiven from our past sins.
“He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” Rom 4:25
If we don’t understand that Christ has the victory and our sins our forgiven, we will keep repeating the past. Many of us are allowing the dead things in our lives to rule us. STOP letting your past sins define your future!!
With Forgiveness Comes Abundant Life
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
We have been given abundant life, but many of us are walking around like Eeyore (from Winnie the Pooh). What does the abundant life look like? It means that fear doesn’t control us and we’re not spending our lives chasing after meaningless pursuits.
God has Given us Power
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Phil 4:13
Do we have confidence in Him? Ironically, many of us put confidence in our own strength, but then we blame God when bad things happen. We need to put our confidence in God alone.
