Have you ever not felt like going to church, experiencing God or walking the Christian walk?  Well, you’re not alone!

If you would like to experience the complete service (including worship and prayer time), please view our Live Stream of the service on our Facebook page.

The world is telling us that we are missing out and that Christianity is old-fashioned. That is the enemy and he is telling us lies!  Things of the world may seem pleasant for a while, but they lead to death.

This isn’t new…Adam and Eve wanted to profit by gaining new knowledge, but this led them to the grave, too.

If we are “not feeling it,” there are few things we can do to get our hearts in the right place.

Remember it’s not about you…it’s about God

If you’re “not feeling it,”  it’s ok because it’s not about you!!!  We go to church to learn what God’s purposes are for us.   We are in training!

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.  ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’” Acts 17:26-28

People may see God as mean, however He is really merciful and caring.

We need an encounter with God

“So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

And Moses said, “Here I am.”

“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Then he said, “I am the God of your father,[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God. ” Exodus 3:3-6

When Moses saw a burning bush that wasn’t burning up, he went to check it out!  He didn’t just sit there, he WENT.  We too, need to run to God.  We need to put ourselves in a place where we can hear His voice.  God WANTS to have an encounter with us!

In our culture, we often don’t fear and respect God.  Instead, we fear man.  Moses quickly learned that God is holy.  We too need to realize that God is holy and we are not.  We want God to act a certain way, but we have to submit to His ways.  God will use the people that submit to him.

Worship God

Don’t wait for Sundays to worship God!  Worship Him daily!

“Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.  Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.” 1 Chronicles 3:23-25

When you’re in a tough season, remember that God is still on the throne.  He may be training and teaching you.  God can take broken vessels and use them for His glory.
