This deeply personal message is about navigating change, overcoming feelings of inadequacy, and the importance of community. Pastor Brent’s reflection on March’s unpredictable weather is a powerful metaphor for spiritual and personal growth.

Here are 3 key takeaways:

Leave the Past Behind: Don’t let past failures or hurtful words define you. Like Pastor Brent, we can choose to break free from old lies and step into a new season of promise and purpose.

Find and Focus on Your Purpose: Ask God what His plan is for your life. Discover your gifts and passions, and use them to serve others—moving beyond day-to-day survival toward meaningful action and service.

Surround Yourself with Community: True growth happens when we gather, encourage, and spur one another on. Isolation isn’t the answer; together, we build up the body and find our own “Esther moment” to make a difference.

If you’re in a time of transition, let this be a reminder: Press forward, lean into community, and pursue the calling set before you.

Are you going to step up and live the life that God's called you to live, or are you going to just keep on existing? Pastor Brent's challenge is that we no longer should just exist. We should start living for our Heavenly Father in heaven. Our life purpose should be about Jesus, not about ourselves. What is the greatest accomplishment that we can have in this earth? Listen to the message for the answer!

In this message, Pastor Brent Weide challenges us to reflect on what we’re truly feeding our spirits—and whether it's leading to lasting fulfillment. Lasting nourishment comes from choosing Jesus, daily wisdom, and authentic community.

In this message, Pastor Brent Weide challenges us to reflect on what we’re truly feeding our spirits—and whether it’s leading to lasting fulfillment.

Key Takeaways:

Feed on What Truly Satisfies:
Like the empty bird feeder analogy, we must consistently nourish ourselves with spiritual “food” that sustains. Are we feeding on Jesus daily, or chasing temporary fixes that leave us empty?

Choose Wisdom Over Mere Knowledge:
It’s easy to come to church seeking more information, but wisdom comes from applying God’s truth. As Proverbs 3:18 says, “Wisdom is a tree of life to those who take hold of her.” The challenge is to pursue wisdom that leads to transformation, not just head knowledge.

Consistency in Community Matters:
True spiritual growth happens in accountable, supportive community. Comfort or isolation can cause us to grow “lukewarm,” but connection helps us stay on track, encourages surrender, and enables real-life change.

He reminds us: It’s not just the physical gear that helps us endure, but what’s happening inside us—our source of strength, faith, and community.

Key takeaways:

Preparation matters—inside and out. Just like boots and coats keep the heat in, we must intentionally “clothe” ourselves with faith and truth to endure life’s challenges.

Don’t go it alone. We need each other—encouragement and fellowship make the journey through deep snow (or tough times) possible. Isolation can make us easy prey for discouragement.

Keep your fire burning. The warmth and passion for life come from a connection with God—the source within, not just your own willpower or self-focus.

If you’re feeling the chill of discouragement or isolation, remember: you can rekindle your fire. Get connected, get equipped, and never underestimate the power of God—or your community—to help you through.

Are you living on mission? Are you using your gifts and abilities to advance the Gospel (and NOT living in what did you did 20 years ago!)?

How do we live on mission?

Set your priorities

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness (Matt 6:33),”

Christians are held back by thinking they aren’t good enough. That is a lie of the enemy! Remind the devil that you are good enough in Christ!

Love each other second – that means you will have to deny yourself.

Learn to walk with God

“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).”

Surrender your life over for the Holy Spirit to guide you

Looks for ways to serve others and pursue the fruit of the spirit

In this message, Pastor Brent Weide draws a compelling parallel between churches and Homeowners Associations (HOAs)—challenging us to reimagine the church not as a place of rigid rules, but as a beacon of love, compassion, and connection. This message resonates far beyond the church walls, offering powerful insights for anyone striving to create more inclusive communities.

3 Key Takeaways:

Compassion Over Conformity:

Real community thrives when we embrace others for who they are—not just those who look, act or think like us. Let’s move past a checklist mentality and treat each person with the love and compassion modeled by Christ

Build Real Connections:

Take the time to truly know your neighbors, colleagues, and peers. Meaningful relationships require intentional effort, communication, and sometimes just showing up with a piece of pie and a listening ear.

Lead With Hope:

In a world craving hope, let’s point people to the source of lasting hope—through encouragement, presence, and by sharing our stories of faith.

Let’s strive to be people who offer grace, build up community, and speak words seasoned with hope. Whether at work, at home, or in our neighborhoods, we all have the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

In this message, Pastor Brent talked about what’s next when you’ve just come through a season of hard work, celebration, and even loss. He shared about the power of looking back to reflect on God’s faithfulness, leaning into prayer as the foundation for future breakthroughs, and serving our communities right where we’re planted. Whether you’re riding the highs or navigating the valleys, remember: stay rooted in Christ, pray over your family and business, farm the land you’ve been given, and don’t forget to stop and celebrate every win along the way. Stay inspired, stay grateful, and keep moving forward!

Listen to Service Here

Key Take-aways:

Prayer-Filled Foundations

Pastor Brent reminds us that all effective ministry and personal growth start with prayer. By “digging ditches” through faithful, consistent prayer—both individually and as a church—we prepare the ground for God’s movement in our lives and community. Devoting ourselves to prayer is not just a prelude to action; it is essential work that protects, guides, and sustains us through every season.

Faithful Stewardship of Your Calling

We are called to “farm the land” God has given us, which means tending to our families, neighbors, and spheres of influence with care and persistence. Like a farmer picking rocks from the field or a volunteer serving selflessly, we’re encouraged to do the daily, sometimes difficult work of evangelism, service, and discipleship—trusting that God uses even our small acts of faithfulness for His greater purpose.

Celebrating God’s Goodness

In the midst of busyness, hardship, or success, it’s important to pause and “smell the roses.” Pastor Brent challenges us to look back in gratitude—celebrating salvations, marriages, personal healing, and every evidence of God’s faithfulness. By stopping to reflect and praise God, we anchor ourselves in joy and keep our perspective rooted in His ongoing work.

This week were blessed with two preachers…Pastor Brent and Pastor Oscar Gallardo (from Guatemala). Scroll down to listen to both of their messages (they are on a separate links).

Pastor Brent talked about how easy it is to get caught up in the busyness of life and lose sight of what really matters—staying connected to God and the power of fellowship. Making church and spiritual growth a priority protects us and makes us stronger, just like a team facing challenges together. Remember, whatever you’re facing, God has it under control—hold on to your faith, seek the Holy Spirit, and never walk the journey alone. Let’s be lion tamers and support one another.

Listen to Pastor Brent’s Message Here

Pastor Oscar talked about the true meaning of legacy. He shared powerful stories about overcoming limits, reminding us that it’s not about the material things we leave behind, but the eternal impact we make through faith and service. No matter our age or circumstances, God’s power has no limits—and He calls each of us to use our gifts and build something lasting for those who come after us. Let’s live purposefully and leave a legacy that truly matters.

Listen to Service Here

If you would like to experience the complete service (including worship), please view our Live Stream of the service on our Facebook page.

Key takeaways:

Value of Courage:

Pastor Brent emphasizes the importance of courage in protecting and leading others in faith. Just like a mother protecting her young, Christians are encouraged to stand up for their beliefs and support the vulnerable in their spiritual journey.

Role of Community:

It’s crucial for more mature believers to come alongside those newer to the faith, protecting and nurturing them. The challenge lies in not just holding our ground but actively discipling others, fostering a community where faith can flourish.

Overcoming Fear with Action:

Real courage means taking action despite fear. Pastor Brent shares vivid examples of taking bold steps in faith, urging believers to move beyond comfortable routines and boldly proclaim the gospel.

Dan Sommer delivers a powerful message on the true purpose of church and the critical role each believer plays in spreading the Gospel. Dan reflects on personal experiences, theological insights, and the transformative power of faith in this message.

Listen to Service Here

If you would like to experience the complete service (including worship), please view our Live Stream of the service on our Facebook page.

Key Takeaways:

Active Ministry Participation

Every believer is called to ministry. The church is not just a place for worship but a training ground to prepare us for witnessing and spreading God’s word. Dan emphasizes the necessity of each one of us becoming ministers of the Gospel, not just relying on church leaders.

Personal Spiritual Growth

Dive into the Bible personally and regularly. Dan encourages personal Bible reading and understanding, rather than an over-reliance on external sources. He suggests simple practices like reading a chapter of Proverbs each day and joining Bible studies to deepen your faith.

Evangelism and Relationship Building

Christian evangelism should center on building relationships and sharing experiences. Dan’s testimony about his conversion and the impact of his faith on others, underscores the importance of living as ‘walking advertisements’ for Christ, by being approachable, happy, and forming genuine friendships.
