In this message, Pastor Brent encourages us to ignite our passion for Christ, emphasizing the urgency of spreading the message of the risen Savior to a world in need. Just as the disciples were instructed to go and untie the colt for Jesus, we are called to break the bonds of sin and lead others to him. Let us fulfill the Great Commission with determination and faith together.

Listen to Service Here

If you would like to experience the complete service (including worship), please view our Live Stream of the service on our Facebook page.

Stirring Passion for Jesus

Pastor Brent encourages us to reignite our passion for Jesus Christ, especially during this significant week. It’s not just about celebrating another Palm Sunday, but about truly stirring up a deep-seated excitement for serving and proclaiming the risen King in our everyday lives.

The Authority of Knowing the Owner

Understanding our position in Christ empowers us with authority. Just as Pastor Brent shared a personal story about hunting, knowing the owner gave him the authority. Similarly, knowing Jesus, the Creator of all, grants us the authority to fulfill the Great Commission and make disciples in His name.

Community and Discipleship

Building community and engaging in discipleship are core to the church’s mission. Pastor Brent emphasizes the importance of doing life together and teaching the Word of God. By engaging with others and sharing the scriptures, we fulfill our role in leading others to Christ and strengthening the body of believers.

In this message, Pastor Brent explores Palm Sunday, untying the donkeys in our lives, and setting the captive free through the love of Jesus Christ. He discusses the danger of selfishness and the pursuit of human recognition, and the importance of servanthood and doing good for God's glory alone. The great commission calls us not to stand still, but to actively make disciples, using everything at our disposal for the Lord's work. Take tangible steps in your faith, and spread the good news. Embrace a heart of praise and thanksgiving, singing Hosanna in the highest. Let's go out there and live a life that's fulfilling the mission.

As we celebrate Palm Sunday, we remember how Jesus entered Jerusalem and was treated the King that He is (Matt 21:1-17)! This account reminds us to do what God tells us to do, worship the Lord and speak boldly for Him.

Do What God Tells You to Do

Jesus that told the disciples to get him a specific donkey. The disciples did not question Jesus, they just did what He asked them to do.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Eph 2:10

God has called us ALL to do something, but so often we make excuses about why we can’t do it. We need to stop making excuses and just do it!

Worship the Lord

As Jesus entered Jerusalem, He was worshipped and treated like royalty.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

We need to make sure that we are worshipping God on a DAILY basis! There are so many reasons He is worthy of our praise!

Speak Boldy About Jesus

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” Matt 21:10-11

At this point in time, the crowd was not afraid to share who Jesus was (although we know this quickly changes!).

We all have a testimony to share, which can point people to Christ. Speak boldly for Jesus! Share what He has done and is doing in your life. It can be so encouraging and even life-changing for those you share with.
