Pastor Brent focused on navigating spiritual dry seasons and the importance of moving forward with hope and action. Even those perceived as strong in faith can experience times of stagnation and dryness.

Key Takeaways:

Acknowledge and Address Dry Seasons: Spiritual dryness can impact anyone, regardless of past victories or current appearance. Recognizing these moments is the first step toward growth.

Let Go of Past Successes: We can risk of relying too much on previous achievements. Pastor Brent compared this to a hayfield—if not harvested at the right time, it becomes unusable. Moving forward requires cutting down old ‘blossoms’ and making room for new opportunities.

Take Initiative and Don’t Wait: Pastor Brent encourages us to act today rather than procrastinating. Whether it’s addressing unresolved issues, serving others, or stepping out of comfort zones, the encouragement was clear—”make hay when the sun shines.”

Let’s move forward together, embracing new opportunities and committing to growth—both personally and within our communities.

In the message this week, Pastor Brent talked about what it means to face seasons where life feels overwhelming—broken lawnmowers, tough decisions, and big transitions like purchasing a new church building. Through transparent stories and Scripture, we were reminded that even in chaos, God is more than enough.

3 Key Takeaways:

Focus on What Matters: Direct your attention to what God is doing, not just the challenges you face. When overwhelmed, shift your perspective from problems to the opportunities and blessings at hand.

Stop Trying to Fix It Alone: Sometimes we make things worse by relying only on ourselves. Instead, be still, pray, and let God guide your next steps.

Radiate Positivity: In work and daily life, let your gratitude and trust in God shine, impacting those around you. A thankful attitude can transform even the toughest environment.

No matter what you’re navigating, remember: you are not alone, and there is always more than enough grace and provision for what’s next.

Honor and Restoration: Not everyone has had a perfect relationship with their mother, but we’re called to extend grace, make that call, and seek restoration where possible. Every day is a new opportunity to build bridges.

Modeling Faith at Home: The strongest lessons aren’t taught—they’re lived. Kids watch how we pray, speak to each other, and overcome challenges. Creating a faith-filled home means letting them see us live out our beliefs daily.

Growth Means Change: Whether it’s new families moving into town or our church purchasing a historic building, growth always involves change. Our mission remains: to invest in the next generation and build legacies that last, rooted in faith and unity.

In this message, Pastor Theo Williams explores the often-overlooked subject of emotional healing within the Christian faith. Drawing from personal experiences, biblical examples, and practical steps, Pastor Theo challenges common approaches to emotions—like suppression—and encourages us to invite God into our emotional lives, scars and all.

In this message, we look at how Jesus himself expressed the full spectrum of human emotion without sin, how trauma and emotional wounds can affect us, and why true healing often begins with vulnerability—both with God and with trusted others. Whether you’re grappling with anger, joy, sadness, or navigating deep wounds, this message offers hope and direction towards wholeness in Christ.

Key takeaways:

Healthy Emotional Expression is Biblical
We’re called to invite God into our emotional lives—joy, anger, sadness, and all. Scripture gives space for a full range of emotions as part of spiritual health.

Distinguishing Immaturity from Wounding
Not all emotional struggles stem from trauma. Sometimes what we need is not healing but maturity—learning how to grow and manage our emotions well.

Healing Starts with Vulnerability
Just as Jesus showed his scars, true healing often begins when we step into trusted community, acknowledge our wounds, and allow others to support us in prayer and presence.

Key takeaways:

Victory Over Barriers: We often allow “stones” like unforgiveness, guilt, doubt, and pride to block our view of Christ’s victory, both in life and in the workplace. Removing these obstacles leads to greater freedom and purpose.

Joy That Transcends Circumstances: True joy isn’t dependent on our challenges but is rooted in the resurrection—empowering us to walk through difficult seasons and losses with hope and resilience.

Purpose in Sharing Good News: The resurrection calls and equips us to move forward, filled with the Holy Spirit, sharing hope and victory with our families, colleagues, and communities.

Listen to Service Here

In this message, Pastor Brent Weide reminds us that no matter our past or how we may feel, God sees us, values us deeply, and invites us to find our worth in Him.

What are we expecting from life, from God? If we walk through life expecting disappointment or believing we don’t matter, that’s often what we’ll find. But God tells us a different story: we are each fearfully and wonderfully made, knit together with purpose and love.

Drawing inspiration from the “Island of Misfit Toys,” Pastor Brent shared how many of us have felt like misfits—whether during our school years, in our own families, or even in our spiritual communities. Even after achieving milestones or recognition, he admitted it never filled the emptiness. The message is clear: our value isn’t based on accomplishments or the approval of others. Only Jesus, the “Living Water,” fulfills and defines us.

The sermon walked us through the biblical account of the Samaritan woman at the well. She was shunned, cast aside by society and by men who divorced her. Yet, Jesus met her personally, offering her living water and a new identity. She left her water jar—her old life—behind, transformed and bold in her testimony.

We need to stop labeling ourselves by our past, mistakes, or even our achievements. We are not defined by these things; we are defined by Christ. Through Him, we are chosen, valuable, and capable—a royal priesthood who can confidently approach God.

Key Takeaways:

You are not your past. Today is a new day; God is flipping the page for you.

You are valuable. Jesus gave everything for you—His life.

You are chosen and capable. You can approach God directly, expecting Him to move in your life.

Leave the old behind. Like the woman at the well, step boldly into your identity in Christ.

In this message, Pastor Brent talks about how true confidence starts with our relationship in Christ. It’s not about what we achieve or own, but how we surrender our lives and trust God’s purpose for us. Through prayer, seeking God’s will, and leaning into His Word, we unlock a life of boldness, joy, and supernatural breakthroughs. Don’t let doubt hold you back—live with confidence, knowing you’re called, equipped, and loved by the King of Kings.

Key takeaways:

🔹 Find Real Confidence in Identity
The enemy attacks our confidence by making us question our worth and salvation. Our identity is rooted in Christ, not past mistakes or worldly achievements.

🔹 Purpose Matters: Know Jesus & Make Him Known
Your unique gifts and passions aren’t random—they’re given for a reason. Living with confidence means embracing your purpose: knowing Jesus and sharing His love in your sphere of influence.

🔹 Pray Boldly & Seek God Daily
Approaching God’s throne with confidence leads to mercy, grace, and purposeful direction. Prayer, reading scripture, and surrendering each day open doors you never thought possible.

No matter your circumstances, you can walk in victory and dominion by anchoring your confidence in Christ. Start your week strong—seek, pray, and walk boldly!

In this message, Pastor Brent Weide challenges us to reflect on what we’re truly feeding our spirits—and whether it’s leading to lasting fulfillment.

Key Takeaways:

Feed on What Truly Satisfies:
Like the empty bird feeder analogy, we must consistently nourish ourselves with spiritual “food” that sustains. Are we feeding on Jesus daily, or chasing temporary fixes that leave us empty?

Choose Wisdom Over Mere Knowledge:
It’s easy to come to church seeking more information, but wisdom comes from applying God’s truth. As Proverbs 3:18 says, “Wisdom is a tree of life to those who take hold of her.” The challenge is to pursue wisdom that leads to transformation, not just head knowledge.

Consistency in Community Matters:
True spiritual growth happens in accountable, supportive community. Comfort or isolation can cause us to grow “lukewarm,” but connection helps us stay on track, encourages surrender, and enables real-life change.

3 Key Takeaways:

New Beginnings Are Always Possible
Isaiah 43:18-19 states: we’re called to “forget the former things” and embrace the new thing God is doing, regardless of past mistakes or setbacks.

Focus on Your Blessings, Not Your Problems
When we shift our attention away from what’s overwhelming and toward what God has already provided, our perspective and capacity to serve increase.

Use What You Have
Big or small, your gifts, home, and time can bless others. The story of the loaves and fishes shows that God multiplies our offerings when we use them with a willing heart.
